lazarus-ide-gtk2 software package provides IDE for Free Pascal - Last GTK+ version dependency package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lazarus-ide-gtk2
lazarus-ide-gtk2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lazarus-ide-gtk2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lazarus-ide-gtk2 *
